Below are 12 items that I recently found on Amazon that I thought you would like. I was a teacher for 17 years and a site administrator for 14 more. Some of the items I’ve used a lot, and for the newer ones I jealously wish they had been around when I was teaching.

First, here are a few clothing and jewelry items. I will show you the item and then put the link directly below it. I’m not going to list any prices, because they may increase so I don’t want to mislead you or misrepresent the item.

Isn’t this just the cutest tee. There are tons of other ones too! I am so jealous of all the adorable teacher clothes available today. When I taught we didn’t have so many choices – lucky you!

Now, aren’t these socks just adorable? I have begun collecting these little socks with pictures. My favorites include some teaching ones and I also have a cute pair with beagles on them since that is the kind of dogs we have. I also pick up a pair in different cities when I go to gift shops for souvenirs.

I love this teacher’s necklace. It is so cute; and currently, it’s a good price. I love how the words sort of wrap around each other to make a circle. Here’s another I like too. To add a link to a heart is inspirational. Teachers make such an impact on lives -little and big – every day. It’s such a nice sentiment.

Items teachers want – Some classroom ideas

Here are some teaching supply items that I either used and loved, or wish they had made when I was teaching.

Isn’t this the best caddy. I would use this on my desk instead of for glue and scissors since I always have different types of pens and markers that I would store, plus paper clips and other such items. I am a color person and I used to use colored markers in my plan book all the time (before the digital plan books were available. So this caddy would be perfect for me!

I used to have to make these types of job labels. These ones are so cute. The black posters and charts are so in style right now. I just love the bright colors on them. There are also a variety of other choices available on this link. These are just my favorite!

Awesome seating!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this shelf with a cute seat. I can just picture a student sitting there to be surrounded by the books he/she loves. HOW FUN IS THAT!

There are lots of other seating options available on Amazon as well. Such as the balls, the stools, and even these carts with cushions.

You can find find almost any kind of student seating that you might be searching for. Be sure to see if your school will purchase these items for you. It never hurts to ask, so be sure to ask.

Items Teachers Want – Awesome Items

This is one of my favorites. I have one of these at work and one at home. There are so many possible ways you can use this letter board both for parties, for decorating your home and also at school.

There are quite a variety of these boards to invest in. Different sizes, different colors, etc. You don’t have to get a rustic one. They also make modern looking ones, romantic ones, feminine ones, etc.

These are probably the best idea that I wish I had when I was teaching my little first-grade students. Each student has their own spot to sit at the kidney table. They can write their answers on them, or just use them to designate their place at the table. No more rushing to grab a certain spot – you just assign each student their color spot and the issue is solved.

There are absolutely tons of wall decals for classrooms now-a-days. Practically any saying that you might want to display is available for your classroom. I like this little reminder of how to speak to each other.

The final item I am featuring here are these great plastic sleeves to use as dry erase boards. When I taught I used the regular sheet protectors, but these are so much better. I want to suggest that if you want a few of the classroom items listed here, ask your administrator if there are funds available to purchase an item or two for your classroom. You never know, there may be a few dollars available in the school budget for supplies and your principal may be willing to let you get reimbursed for these items.

Of course, if you are interested in a personal item such as the tee’s and socks, then you would need to get them yourself.
