Classroom Management Round-Up: 8 Articles from Education Bloggers
I’ve been wanting to write a classroom management” round-up” article to share some great information from fellow education bloggers out on the WWW.
I can’t believe how many teaching blogs there are! WOW! I think some of them were started and then abandoned or the teacher is taking a break. But there are still quite a few active blogs with tons of information for all of us to learn, grow and SHARE!
Another “new-ish” phenomenon is that there are now some teachers using social media as a platform, such as Instagram. When I tried to find a “blog” for these teachers, they don’t have one.
When I was researching for this article, my primary goal was to find established bloggers who are offering information on Classroom Management. You can read one of my articles on Classroom Management also, called: 10 Effective Ways to Prove You Are in Charge of Your Classroom.
I know you are all well versed in finding products online, especially using the “Teachers Pay Teachers” website. Most of the bloggers I am featuring also sell products on this platform.
Eight Education Blog Articles on Classroom Management
So, without further ado, here are the 8 blogs and bloggers I am highlighting today.
#1. “Teach 4 the Heart”
“Teach 4 the Heart” is a well-established blog created by Linda Kardamis. She offers many articles on Classroom Management, as well as a number of courses that she has developed on this topic that are for sale. Her course called Classroom Management 101 sells for $119. and she has a free 5-day intro course.
One thing I love about Linda’s blog is that she established a Facebook Group that I belong to called the “Christian Teachers’ Lounge. Part of her blog is geared toward Christian teaching, but not all of it.
The article I want to highlight is called: “30 Powerful Classroom Management Strategies You Can Implement Right Away.”
#2. “Organized Classroom“
“Organized Classroom” is also a well established blog. It’s author is Charity Preston. Charity has many categories on her blog, Classroom Management being one of them.
When you scroll down her blog strand, she has many articles on specific topics of interest such as setting up your class library, student seating solutions, and other such ideas.
Charity offers specifics on different types of positive reinforcements to use to get students to control their own behavior. Her article contains links to other internal articles that she’s written on Classroom Management.
The article I am highlighting here is called: “Classroom Management: Why & How.”
#3. “The Owl Teacher“
“The Owl Teacher” creator’s name is Tammy (I couldn’t find her last name). She has created an adorable blog and has been well established for at least 8-10 years.
Tammy offers items that she sells, as well as having some items on the Teachers Pay Teachers site. She offers a VIP membership that gets you weekly emails of her latest information, “Weekly Teaching Tips, Free Engaging Resources, Monthly Giveaways, Special Promotions.”
The highlighted article I’m including here is; “15 Classroom Management Tips.”
#4. “Young Teacher Love“
“Young Teacher Love” is another well-established blog that has been around a number of years. Its creator is Kristine Nannini.
Kristine also sells teaching products, but what I like about her blog is that she offers research-based information and/or quite a bit of knowledge about what she is promoting and writing about.
For example, I am highlighting her article on Growth Mindset, and I see that she has developed a few items on Growth Mindset that teachers can purchase to add to their curriculum.
Here is her link: “Secrets of Successful Classroom Management: Encouraging a Growth Mindset”
#5. “Cult of Pedagogy”
This fifth blog’s name completely describes this website. Its creator is Jennifer Gonzalez and it is FULL OF FABULOUS information. Jennifer taught middle school and then provided in-service at the
“Cult of Pedagogy” is by far the most professional of all the ones I have visited (meani
This website offers so many resources. Her site offers blog post articles, podcasts, videos
I took a peek at a podcast and a couple of videos and they are full of useful information also.
The article that I am highlighting today is called: “Classroom Management: 4 Keys to Starting the Year Off Right”
#6. “Teach Create Motivate“
“Teach Create Motivate” is the website of Ashley Marquez, a 3rd-grade teacher from Texas. Ashley also sells products made available on the Teachers Pay Teachers online store.
Ashley has a category for Classroom Management, as I do; and she has a number of articles written for this category. The article I want to highlight is called: “Classroom Management Tips.”
This article also has a podcast available where Ashley reads the article to you. This could come in handy if you have a long commute home to and from work. Or if you are taking a trip and want to listen to another teacher’s tips.
This seems to be an appropriate time to offer you a copy of my FREE Classroom Routines Checklist. You can get it RIGHT AWAY by just completing this form.

#7. “The Creative Classroom”
The seventh article I am highlighting today is “The Creative Classroom” a blog written by Ashlyn Ellsworth. Ashlyn also teaches third grade and, like me, she lives in Arizona.
She has created an adorable blog that actually centers more around classroom organization than management tips. It appears she’s had the website for over seven years. She has an extensive list of article categories on the right side of the webpage.
So, I think the best way to introduce “The Creative Classroom” is to link you to her homepage and encourage you to search around.
The homepage link is here: “The Creative Classroom”
#8. “The Teacher Trap”
My final recommendation for articles about Classroom Management is “The Teacher Trap.” Its creator is Kady (no last name given), from Tennessee, a former teacher turned blogger and SAHM.
Kady’s article that I want to highlight here is called: “Quick Classroom Management Strategies for Preventing Problems.” I think you will enjoy reading it.
Another product that Kady has created in the area of Classroom Management is a course that teachers can pay to take online. It is called Classroom Management Makeover, and it costs $89.
Be sure to check with your administrator if you are wishing to take it for Professional Development hours (if that is required in your state) to see if it will be allowed to count as credit hours.
So, that’s it for today!
Until Next Time,
